Why can I NOT get my shower sparkly? Huh?

So, before we moved in here, the master bathroom looked like it quite possibly had never been cleaned. An exaggeration? Maybe, but see photo below as possible proof. Yes, there is a tub in there somewhere and a shower and a sink or two.
I had some awesome cleaning ladies come and get the whole house all sparkly so we could move in. They did a great job on the shower. It sparkled, seriously! And it’s matte tile.
Since that time I’ve cleaned it a bazillion times and when it dries, the hard water stains laugh at me from their original strongholds. Scrubbing Bubbles, Tilex, CLR, The Works, and white vinegar haven’t worked (except on the glass door).
My new plan of attack: Call Lily and Claudia back to come clean it again and ask them to teach me how to clean my dumb shower. How sad is that? At least the rest of the room looks better than it did before we moved in!

one thing that was suggested to me years ago and did work pretty well was using a paste of cascade complete and a little water rub it on and let it sit a few minutes and then scrub it off with some water. The stuff in it is supposed to eat away at the grime that won’t let go.
Yay, love seeing more of your pretty house. Let me know what you find out about the cleaning. I always need tips.
Yay, I found you!
So…I think we should experiment with my steamer and see if it can do the job for your shower (since I don’t have glass shower doors to experiment on). Also, I’ve heard of Jeni’s suggestion as being a good one. Looking forward to checking up on your cute blog.
Purchased the Cascade Complete…will try this week!
