Movie night for me!!!
After a long week of deadlines, dishes and diapers, I was SO ready to get out of the house tonight. YES, I am hormonal!!
Too much information, maybe, but it’s times like these when I know I need to go sit in a dark room with 50+ complete strangers and just be nothing but a patron of the arts!
Tonight, I went to see hairspray and I do not regret it! I left the theatre happy and refreshed and knowing EXACTLY what my Halloween costume will be this year! I loved the costumes and John Travolta as the mom was hilarious! Queen Latifah was once again fabulous in this. I loved her in Chicago and this was just about as fun!

I’m not sure how a 2 hour movie can wipe away the week’s stress, but I’m ready to go to bed and get up and do it all again for another week. Thank goodness people make movies. I *LOVE* them! I think i even like a lot of bad movies. One of my favorites…Girl’s Just Wanna Have Fun from the 80’s. LOVE it.
So, now I just have to decide which outfit to wear for Halloween! The school outfit, the pink sequins or the go go boots?? FUN stuff!
I have to bring this back around to digital, of course! There was a line in the movie about integrating races and the character said something along the lines of “This is the way it’s going. You can either fight it or rock out to it!” Now, I know that scrapbooking is NOT racism, but it just reminded me of what I’ve been saying for 8 years now. Digital scrapbooking is the way it’s going and you can either fight it or rock out to it!!
Oh…Rhonna’s challenge note…I did NOT create anything but dinner today!
I seriously needed a break and it was refreshing. However, I did put together a carpet shampooer that hasn’t been out of it’s box since I bought it, and used it since my baby decided to create a “poopy on carpet” painting this morning. I think if I were to attempt a masterpiece today it might just look like the poopy!
We’ll just leave it at that!

ROFL Seriously think you get credit for creative when dealing with “poopy on carpet” paintings. Too funny. Hope you’re doing well, missy!
