Musical Chairs…
Couldn’t help but equate this latest round of changes at CKMedia to the birthday party game we played as kids. In case you missed the memo…from Memorytrends magazine:
Happy Summer! Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial beginning of summer - a season that brings changes in schedules, pastimes, and temperatures. It brings change, too, to CK Media Scrapbooking.
Effective June 1, Lisa Bearnson will step down from her role as Creative Editor of CK Media in order to focus more on her duties as Founding Editor of Creating Keepsakes magazine and spend more time with her family. Brian Tippetts will continue his role as Editor-in-Chief of Creating Keepsakes magazine, with Britney Mellen as Creative Editor - positions announced last week after Tracy White stepped down as Creating Keepsakes Editor-in-Chief. Lin Sorenson will assume the position of Editorial Director for the scrapbook magazines, continuing Lisa’s previous efforts to coordinate the editorial goals of these magazines and to serve as an editorial voice on the CK Media executive board. Jennafer Martin will assume the role of Editor-in-Chief of Simple Scrapbooks and Digital Scrapbooking magazines, effective June 15. All other editors and contacts at Simple Scrapbooks and Digital Scrapbooking remain the same.

I think it’s about as fun as musical chairs! 
Lin is an amazingly organized and sharp woman and she is perfect to take over for Lisa. I’ve only met Jennafer once briefly at CHA and look forward to working with her a bit. So it’s all fun and games, really! It’s a fun business and it’s amazing to get to see the fun and skilled people who are behind it all. Can’t wait to see what the future holds…scrapbooking is not going anywhere but forward!

How’s the baby?I’ve always believe changes are good otherwise it becomes stagnant and stale.
I alos luv the changes in the digital scrapbook mag as well.
I don’t know who any of these people are.
