OK, OK…I’ll update!!

Didn’t know people actually READ this blog, but apparently Emilie does so I have to get something new on here for her!

So…here’s what’s new. Had a party at Archiver’s lastnight…super FUN! Scrapped and talked at the same time, amazingly enough. Can’t show you what I scrapped for another, oh, I don’t know… 2 months or so since it’s work related, but I can definitely show the photo of the CAKE (oh yeah, and the fun girls who partied with me!)

Standing - Shawnery, Michelle, Rox, Kara, Kristie, Kayla, Sitting - Julie, April, Clarice

I loved chatting with people who actually understand what CHA is and know that magazines exist for scrapbooking!

That Kara is WAY too modest though. She wrote this little book… YEAH, whatever…it’s a very cool book that I will now have to shell out some cash for since it’s from a different publisher! (Why do I even try to budget?)

I finally got to meet Kristie too and will have to go downoad some podcasts…and Kristie’s friend Michelle looked like a 5th grade classmate of mine! Very twilight zone! :)

Have to say…I don’t envy either Kara or Kristie, BOTH being in the last week of their pregnancies. Did that 9 months ago and I’m not sure if I will again.

I think Clarice needs to STOP working at Archiver’s or she will have no room in her house to sleep because she’ll have to move her bed out to the lawn to make room for more stuff! :) Just kidding!!! But, how fun would that be to work at your own private playground?

THANK YOU KAYLA for bringing the HUGE yummy cake! I’m sure the Archiver’s staff thanks you today too! And Rox and Julie…next time…it’s 80’s hair night. Thanks to Shawnery for the digital goodies she brought and shared (her OWN creations!!). Can’t wait to try them out.

It was a super fun night for me since there were no bottles or diapers. I even ditched the mini-van for my husband’s civic with a moonroof so I could feel COOL. After all, I’m really just a teenager but with a car and money!! Not sure how cool Lindsay Lohan in the CD player made me look but at least it wasn’t a kids songs CD.

And a public service announcement… I remembered the names of EVERYONE (even Heather the hostess of the night) at that party and that is VERY unusual for me since my daughter was born 8 years ago. What changed??? I have been using a CPAP machine at night for about a month now for sleep apnea and it’s like coming out of a fog! If your spouse says you stop breathing at night (or snore or breather loudly etc.) check into it! It’s already made a HUGE difference in my energy levels during the day and everything seems clearer. Just don’t expect a photo of me with the mask on…it’s so scary it would be rated R for disturbing images! END of PSA!

YAY and HOORAY! A new post. Am I a stalker or what?!! But every girl should have a stalker…it makes us feel good.

I went into a scrapbook store I had never been to before once and a lady said, “Where’s your cute redhaired daughter?” Seemed a bit creepy until she told me she reads my BLOG and that’s very flattering. So April…you should LOVE being stalked. It’s quite the compliment!

HA HA! I loved reading your post! Glad it was such a great night! When’s the next crop? LOL! Or get together! It’s so much fun hanging around people that “get it”. I totally know what you mean!
