LOVE me some Tinkering Ink…want some???
I finally had time to play around with the Tinkering Ink Digital CDs (thanks Kezia!!) and I really enjoyed myself. It’s a nice break from all the distressed stuff (which I love too!). One of the best things I like about these designs is how easy it is to change one part of the paper because they are all solid colors so the magic wand tool LOVES it! Here’s a little page about my creeping crawling boy… I used the Westminster line and changed some of the dots in the paper to match Joshua’s clothes.
The next layout was a fun one…showing off my new do! Went to Archiver’s to pick up a couple of things…ok…fine…I just went there to visit the magazine. Thanks to Melanie Anderson for the GREAT shots! Usually when I hand over my camera to someone else I expect the photos to turn out just OK, but Melanie knows her stuff and I actually *LIKE* these photos of myself! For this one I used Perfectly Posh and did some funky things with the flower shape on the background paper. I put another layer of it in front with a green hue and turned the monogram ‘A’ green too. Fun stuff!
Then I went back and used more Westminster. Donna was wearing her adorable brown hat in one of the photos so I went back for the brown. I may have to make this a 4 pager because I have so many fun photos like these from CHA. On this one I don’t think I recolored much, just one of the letters I think.
So…Tinkering Ink is running a contest right now and one of the winners will be digital!!! I love changing colours on digi papers so this sounds great! Love the mag. I can’t tell you how many trips I made to stores looking for it in the few weeks just before it was out! I guess I was a little impatient. I have it now and it’s great!
