One week post-op

Someday my posts to this blog will have SOMETHING to do with digital scrapbooking… but for now, it’s a little more ‘focused’ on my family. Great for the grandparents, not so interesting for the digital scrapbooking enthusiast! :)

Right now we’re just happy that Joshua is recovering well! He has been eating more than ever! He is happy now that he’s off the pain medication. Just one more week of dealing with the arm restraints and the Logan’s Bow over his mouth. He’s healing very well. Here’s a photo of him today while taking a break from the restraints and the tape on his face.

And here’s a close-up. The poor guy’s face has had enough of the surgical tape from the bow.

Here’s a photo of the bow and the restraints on the day of the surgery so you can see why he’s so excited to take a break! :) The bow keeps him from rubbing into blankets and our shoulders etc. and the arm restraints keep him from putting his hands in his mouth. He’s a smarty though and has wiggled out of them more than once!

I took some photos of the kids last week before the surgery and they turned out adorable! Here’s just one of them. More will follow in a week or so!
