Can 80’s hair come back, pretty PLEASE???????
It is sad to have to admit this, but I had way too much fun doing my hair for my halloween costume this year. The teasing, flipping, spraying, blow-drying, curling etc. had me giggling! It brought back memories, but this time I didn’t have to share the mirror with my sister. (Love ya, Christi!) Now, for my REAL confession…I LIKE BIG HAIR! I miss the days of big bangs and poofy wings. Can 80’s hair PLEASE come back in style?? When I get old, I may just do my hair like this and let people chalk it up to senility, but until then I’ll have to restrain myself and sport a more conservative ‘do.
My big 80’s hair and my stylin’ flipped up collar, powder blue striped, 80’s ‘boyfriend’ (OK, he’s my husband now, but see photo number two for my authentic 80’s boyfriend photo).
YES, that’s really us in 1987 - no Photoshop tricks! SO, now…almost 20 years later (am I that old??? - Shoot…I am!) We don’t have the big hair or flipped up collar, but we DO have some mighty adorable children. Or should I say, we have a 12 year old “Claws” (he came up with, made, and named his costume himself), a 7 year old lab mouse, and a 10 week old pea pod!
One last note…of all the festivities of the day, the kids (and cousins) let me know that TRADING candy was the best part and that the cousins couldn’t go home until everything was sufficiently traded. It sounded like a game of Pit was going on in my hallway!! Crazy but fun!!
Now the dilemma begins…eat it all right away or hoard it so you still have some when your sibling’s stash has been gone for weeks…(Love ya, Christi!!)

I LOVE 80s hair too! I had the biggest hair around… LOL! Love the now and then photos!

LOVE the hair. I’m guessing you used about a full can of hairspray to acheive that look??? Been there, done that…
And the baby costume - oh my heck! That is priceless. I adore the peas in a pod get-up. Way stinkin’ cute!

Your 80s hair looks great! In fact, both you and your dh look very cute — then and now! I love the pix of the kids with the candy spread all over the floor — ah, those were the days!!
